The supporters of Club Universidad Nacional booed when ...Pingue S.C.... was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. A collision led to Club Universidad Nacional getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Oscar Lalla hit a great ball. The supporters of Club Universidad Nacional booed when ...Pingue S.C.... was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose-Antonio Rescuro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Dennis Ibar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Aimar in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose-Antonio Rescuro in the 72nd minute of play forced Club Universidad Nacional's goalkeeper Fernando Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ...Pingue S.C.... booed when Club Universidad Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xever Yanes in the 87th minute of play. Xever Yanes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fernando Abarca came out and tried to block the shot, but Xever Yanes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 90th minute. Fernando Abarca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Oces, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. ...Pingue S.C....'s Dennis Ibar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Artal in the 97th minute of play. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 1-1. Extra-time would have to be played.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Lorenzo Aimar made the kick off and play began. After a defensive mix-up in ...Pingue S.C....'s zone, Fabio Artal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Ibar came out of the goal and Fabio Artal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 107 minutes into the match, Club Universidad Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Oces came free, but Fernando Abarca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robin Oces might have been able to make a better finish in the 109th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Abarca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robin Oces ran back to his position shaking his head. Dennis Ibar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lorenzo Aimar in the 111th minute. With the score at 1-1, the referee blew for the end of the half. The players got a few minutes to recover before they had to start the second half of extra-time.

The players looked a little tired but resolute before the second half of the overtime, where Robin Oces took the kick off. Pascual Ubendu kicked well hit freekick during the 121st minute of the match. 124 minutes into the match, Club Universidad Nacional's goalkeeper Fernando Abarca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xever Yanes. 126 minutes into the match, ...Pingue S.C....'s goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Artal came free, but Dennis Ibar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Lalla hit a great freekick 126 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as ...Pingue S.C....'s Xever Yanes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fernando Abarca. That made the score 1-2 after 128 minutes of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ...Pingue S.C.... walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
