That made the score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. Salvador Mata took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego de Toledo. Diego de Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. October 04's Diego de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Mata in the 24th minute of play. Diego de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Saborio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Paulo Paes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Guillermo Araya firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 37 played minutes October 04 got a freekick which was hit by Faustão dos Santos. SAPRIMECKBEL's Guillermo Araya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save SAPRIMECKBEL from getting a goal against them. Diego de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Mata in the 41st minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Paulo Paes to make the kick off. The supporters of SAPRIMECKBEL booed when October 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabinho Falcão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Araya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Antunes in the 94th minute of play. After 94 played minutes SAPRIMECKBEL got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Rosabal.

For all the effort they put into the match, the SAPRIMECKBEL players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for October 04.
