Adalberto Larrarte charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adalberto Larrarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valer Nuțu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darío Brizuela, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Nicodim Voiculescu fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s protests and gave Nicodim Voiculescu a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Nicodim Voiculescu. In the 36th minute, Horacio Escalona made a precise shot to the right of Valer Nuțu. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Horacio Escalona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valer Nuțu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Escalona, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Darío Brizuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute of the game, Nicodim Voiculescu landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 53 minutes into the game, Juan Miguel Bilbao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SiTomanBoy´s's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- the free kick. A collision led to SiTomanBoy´s getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Juan Miguel Bilbao hit a great ball. After 56 played minutes Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Albert Guriță. A throw-in in the 59th minute of the game was made by Albert Guriță with Leontin Matei as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 65thth minute of the game Darío Brizuela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Valer Nuțu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Maldini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petre Benga in the 68th minute of play. Valer Nuțu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horacio Escalona in the 71st minute. Laurín Cohen's late challenge caught a Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laurín Cohen helped the player get up and apologised. Narcis Aursulesei charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narcis Aursulesei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Horacio Escalona put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Valer Nuțu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narcis Aursulesei in the 95th minute of play forced SiTomanBoy´s's goalkeeper Daniel Maldini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

SiTomanBoy´s's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
