Augusto Gilen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Cristo Elivareo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Celino in the 20th minute of play forced Barrialito AFC's goalkeeper Cristo Elivareo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes, Jacinto Raitin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrialito AFC and the Mazaredo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arnoldo Orlondon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Raitin in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Joel Tiniebra fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrialito AFC's protests and gave Joel Tiniebra a yellow card for diving instead. Cristo Elivareo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Veremundo in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Mazaredo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Raitin came free, but Arnoldo Orlondon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
