Seating: 114, VIP seats: 9) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Al Pool got the match started through his kick off. Eric Delaney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Pudes in the 7th minute of play. Dean Adamson hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Florentino Esiquio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute Ozzy Goodall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Evis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Marlin FC defense, Trey Seal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Timoteo Evis. The Marlin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timoteo Evis should have stopped the shot. Anier Sazon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eric Delaney came out and tried to block the shot, but Anier Sazon slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 24th minute. Timoteo Evis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Al Pool in the 27th minute of the match. Ricardo Erlantz's late challenge caught a Dorking United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Erlantz helped the player get up and apologised. Timoteo Evis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trey Seal in the 33rd minute of play. Timoteo Evis came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Dorking United FC's Tristan Haley. But to his dismay, Tristan Haley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 41st minute Trey Seal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Evis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristan Haley in the 43rd minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Timoteo Evis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tristan Haley came free, but Timoteo Evis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Casimiro Gonzales to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Dean Adamson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Timoteo Evis. Dean Adamson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. In the 58th minute Jake Ellison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Evis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Dean Adamson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfonso Pudes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timoteo Evis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jake Ellison in the 66th minute of play. Timoteo Evis made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Dean Adamson sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute, Al Pool ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timoteo Evis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Tristan Haley received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Timoteo Evis came out and tried to block the shot, but Tristan Haley slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 78th minute. Anier Sazon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dean Adamson kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Ricardo Erlantz got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 89 played minutes Marlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Bazil. Al Pool could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Timoteo Evis made a huge save. 93 minutes into the match, Florentino Esiquio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eric Delaney. Dorking United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florentino Esiquio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5.
The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dorking United FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
