The crowd rose to their feet as PHOENIX SC's Ida Bagus Zulfan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pompiliu Nisporeanu. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. In the 19th minute, Doru Săvescu made a precise shot to the right of Markus Sirait. PHOENIX SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Gigel Novac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Sirait having to interfere. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Federico Chiesa scored to the left of an out of position Pompiliu Nisporeanu, making the score, 2-1. In the 40th match minute, PHOENIX SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Chiesa to maneuver through the defense. When Christopher Kalengkongan fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PHOENIX SC's protests and gave Christopher Kalengkongan a yellow card for diving instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Doru Săvescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Markus Sirait was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Doru Săvescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 50 minute of play. Pompiliu Nisporeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ida Bagus Zulfan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christopher Kalengkongan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pompiliu Nisporeanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s zone, Bagol Kalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pompiliu Nisporeanu came out of the goal and Bagol Kalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th match minute, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jovan Markovič to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, PHOENIX SC's Markus Sirait got control of the ball when Doru Săvescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- booed when PHOENIX SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asep Ridholhaqqi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pompiliu Nisporeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Chiesa, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Ida Bagus Zulfan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Pompiliu Nisporeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pompiliu Nisporeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Chiesa in the 86th minute of play. The PHOENIX SC fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when PHOENIX SC's Federico Chiesa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. PHOENIX SC had won after a very even match.
