Angelo Scarinci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciriaco Herensuge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Angelo Scarinci notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of CAM Football Club's Ciriaco Herensuge. Ciriaco Herensuge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of CAM Football Club booed when FC Aquile Azzurre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demetrio Bani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fulvio Gabriele was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Laureano Ur. In the 26th match minute, FC Aquile Azzurre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrio Bani to maneuver through the defense. After 28 minutes, Ernesto Amicone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Aquile Azzurre and the CAM Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dino Marcolongo's late challenge caught a CAM Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dino Marcolongo helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of FC Aquile Azzurre:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CAM Football Club:s goal. After 39 minutes FC Aquile Azzurre's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgard Chan who took care of the corner kick. FC Aquile Azzurre's Fulvio Gabriele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save FC Aquile Azzurre from getting a goal against them. After 46 played minutes, CAM Football Club's Edgard Chan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fulvio Gabriele came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CAM Football Club reached it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After some careless play in the FC Aquile Azzurre defense, Roman Umbruso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulvio Gabriele. The FC Aquile Azzurre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulvio Gabriele should have stopped the shot. In the 76th match minute, CAM Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Gutxi to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute of the match, Angelo Scarinci tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ciriaco Herensuge saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Angelo Scarinci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Fernando Fagondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulvio Gabriele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Aquile Azzurre's Fulvio Gabriele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Eztebe in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of FC Aquile Azzurre booed when CAM Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Umbruso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Roman Umbruso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Aquile Azzurre eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
