Brian Ingvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 冯星默 having to interfere. After 44 played minutes 『挑战者』东方曙光 got a freekick which was hit by 钱光棋. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 吴邦勇 to make the kick off. All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Henley Utd's Gianluca Scamacca that got to make the kick off. In the 99th minute, 邵政弘 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luka Dončić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 冯星默 having to interfere. With an all-out effort, 『挑战者』东方曙光's Erling Söderqvist threw himself towards the right post 104 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 吴邦勇, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Erling Söderqvist was a little too slow when 邵政弘 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 105th minute. The score was now 2-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, 『挑战者』东方曙光 could leave the field as winners, despite Henley Utd having more of the ball for most of the match.
