Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leopoldo Sanches kicked off to start the match. Curacao's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Leopoldo Sanches 5 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Komen Grama had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Komen Grama was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Leopoldo Sanches stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Leopoldo Sanches tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Curacao's Kyle Davies got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joélson Paraibano in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Leopoldo Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Sanches was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute, Rocco Owen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Leopoldo Sanches kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Rocco Owen got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Leopoldo Sanches made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 39thth minute of the game Leopoldo Sanches who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Stanley Wallace came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Curacao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanley Wallace couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kyle Davies made a kick off. Caio Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Gianluigi Donnarumma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Troy Kennedy in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Davies came free, but Gianluigi Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Leopoldo Sanches in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curacao's goalie prevented a goal. 79 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Sanches came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Komen Grama in the 82nd minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Komen Grama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kyle Davies's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gianluigi Donnarumma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Komen Grama kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Leopoldo Sanches left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 93rd match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyle Davies to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Sanches recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
