Luca Langoni took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Placido Silvanito made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Placido Silvanito made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Cristian Christian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. River Plate ® 9-12's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luca Langoni in the 88th minute.
