The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Ron Laycock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Ramachandran hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Erruki in the 11th minute of play forced Nagrand's goalkeeper Wilhelm Falkrantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Quexal kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Ron Laycock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Nesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute Justino Erruki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Falkrantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilhelm Falkrantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Erruki in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Nagrand were awarded a corner. 胡浩岩 went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Mathews's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Nesto was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. When Ron Laycock came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Nagrand fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ron Laycock couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justino Erruki got free with Wilhelm Falkrantz in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teobaldo Ponce lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Mervaleta FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nagrand:s goal. Leo Nesto had in the 38thth minute some difficulties stopping 胡浩岩's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 胡浩岩 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dario Quexal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Epifanio Javiero came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Mervaleta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Javiero couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Mervaleta FC's Justino Erruki got a free kick in the 66th minute. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Adam Ramachandran took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Leo Nesto to make any attempt to save it. Leo Nesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 胡浩岩 in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Gabriel Mathews shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Nesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ron Laycock in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Nesto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nagrand were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Mervaleta FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 胡浩岩 took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Ron Laycock drilling the ball in to score 0-3 behind Mervaleta FC's goalkeeper. After 87 played minutes Mervaleta FC got a freekick which was hit by Justino Erruki. 96 minutes into the game, 胡浩岩 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leo Nesto. 胡浩岩 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nagrand had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
