The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Dinu Dabija made a huge save. Remus Boștină took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dinu Dabija. That made the score 3-2 after 62 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Tan in the 66th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the game, G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️'s Michael Tan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 77th match minute, G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rareș Rareș to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Ros's late challenge caught a G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Ros helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes, G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️'s Ovidiu Dobrica shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️ reached it. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Svante Vase's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Cotilla was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Dabija having to interfere.
