Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Adrian Bobeanu made the kick off and thus started the match. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Adrian Bobeanu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Eusebiu Cozorici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10thth minute of the game Adrian Bobeanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Lautaro Puig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eusebiu Cozorici. Vama Veche ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Puig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Adrian Bobeanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute Aaron Alcocer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebiu Cozorici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebiu Cozorici came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig. But to his dismay, Lautaro Puig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Alan Moruga charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Moruga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vama Veche ™ booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vama Veche ™ were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Avram Tuleiu took the corner. The corner ended in Avram Tuleiu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz did a great save. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Adrian Bobeanu took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Costa Rica got a corner. Vama Veche ™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Tasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Avram Tuleiu hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got his second yellow card of the match in the 60th minute. The referee ordered Alan Moruga off the ground. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eusebiu Cozorici. That made the score 2-3 after 67 minutes of play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Adrian Bobeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 89th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Adrian Bobeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Adrian Bobeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Vama Veche ™ manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Costa Rica to win.
