The Haiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Seide should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute, Silvério Bittencourt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Noel Seide. The goal made the score 3-0. After 25 minutes of play, Portuguesa's 任浩默 made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noel Seide was left in no man's land by his defense there! 任浩默 had several of the Haiti's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Noel Seide as he didn't even see the shot coming. 任浩默 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Noel Seide when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 41 minutes into the game, Edgard Macedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Noel Seide was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45th minute Silvério Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Noel Seide successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Alphonse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 任浩默 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Noel Seide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Portuguesa's Giovani Cavalcante was substituted for Silvério Bittencourt. Portuguesa's Décio Lago was substituted for André Luís Cardozo. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holger Zachrisson in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, 任浩默 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Noel Seide. Haiti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 任浩默 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. 85 minutes into the game, Holger Zachrisson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 13-0. Noel Seide was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Noel Seide came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Portuguesa's Edgard Macedo. But to his dismay, Edgard Macedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. There was no doubt that Portuguesa were the better team. Portuguesa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
