The Vama Veche ™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Vama Veche ™'s Avram Tuleiu got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Tasis to maneuver through the defense. After 25 minutes of play, Vama Veche ™'s Adrian Bobeanu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Bobeanu in the 29th minute of play. Martin Nițu charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Nițu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Martin Nițu kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Lautaro Puig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Bobeanu in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Adrian Bobeanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian Bobeanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebiu Cozorici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eusebiu Cozorici came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Costa Rica reached it. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Bobeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Bobeanu in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vama Veche ™'s Avram Tuleiu got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Șerban Ciociu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 78 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Lautaro Puig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Costa Rica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Ionică Chihaia hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Ionică Chihaia charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ionică Chihaia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. There was no doubt that Vama Veche ™ were the better team. Vama Veche ™'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
