After 3 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Troy Kennedy. Taio Ponce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute, AlmaToran's Sol Aries dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Galo Granell was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. AlmaToran's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Galo Granell was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. After 12 played minutes AlmaToran got a freekick which was hit by Galo Granell. Kyle Davies shot from long distance after 13 played minutes, a shot that Fortun Mostoles with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Bruno Barrett made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Peli Briñas sent off a good shot on target. Sol Aries might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Barrett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sol Aries ran back to his position shaking his head. After 18 minutes, Taio Ponce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AlmaToran and the Curacao players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes AlmaToran got a freekick which was hit by Taio Ponce. Fortun Mostoles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rocco Owen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Genaro Quesada fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AlmaToran's protests and gave Genaro Quesada a yellow card for diving instead. Genaro Quesada kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stanley Wallace during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th minute Sol Aries shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Troy Kennedy's late challenge caught a AlmaToran's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Troy Kennedy helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Troy Kennedy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Filiberto Angelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, AlmaToran's Bruno Barrett threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sol Aries, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sol Aries sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fortun Mostoles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanley Wallace, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 46 minutes, Taio Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AlmaToran's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taio Ponce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kyle Davies made a kick off. Taio Ponce hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Angelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taio Ponce in the 56th minute of play. Taio Ponce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Taio Ponce notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Curacao's Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Taio Ponce struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AlmaToran. Taio Ponce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sol Aries had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Filiberto Angelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 66 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Angelo came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AlmaToran's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Genaro Quesada in the 68th minute. In the 72nd match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertie Johnson to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Sol Aries made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by AlmaToran's Sol Aries. But to his dismay, Sol Aries quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Filiberto Angelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Taio Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot. AlmaToran's supporters rose to their feet, but Taio Ponce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sol Aries sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There was no doubt that AlmaToran were the better team. AlmaToran's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
