Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Sebastian Loren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inocencio Raulo charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inocencio Raulo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Inocencio Raulo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Dahlgren in the 15th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Black Mamba getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Inocencio Raulo hit a great ball. Tomas Berganza might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Loren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Berganza ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Panama booed when Black Mamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Armando Maradona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Isidoro Sarmiento might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Loren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Sarmiento ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastian Loren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 29th minute of play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Loren was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Loren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 37 minutes Black Mamba's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Panama's Miguel Miralles got a free kick in the 41st minute. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Dahlgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Loren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 52nd minute of the match. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Sebastian Loren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Dahlgren in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Loren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Mamba's goalkeeper Sebastian Loren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th match minute, Black Mamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Raulo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 86th minute of play forced Black Mamba's goalkeeper Sebastian Loren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Sarmiento got free with Sebastian Loren in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Garrido in the 89th minute of play forced Black Mamba's goalkeeper Sebastian Loren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Black Mamba defense, Tomas Berganza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Loren. The Black Mamba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Loren should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Panama's Felipe Ros got a free kick in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Panama walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
