Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's Olli Fiedler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Primitivo Andino fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Primitivo Andino a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 5th minute. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Olli Fiedler sent off a good shot on target. Sportivo Luan Toro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guaberto Bento in the 9th minute. Sportivo Luan Toro's Jo Barone was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 10th minute, Jo Barone made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 12 minutes of play, Sportivo Luan Toro's Olli Fiedler made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Robert Davison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olli Fiedler in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Robert Davison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Davison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play forced Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Robert Davison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olli Fiedler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Olli Fiedler's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. Olli Fiedler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sportivo Luan Toro's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
Jo Barone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Juan Sebastián Puig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo Luan Toro the free kick. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Olli Fiedler put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Sportivo Luan Toro made a substitution. Martins Palermo replaced Olli Fiedler. Sportivo Luan Toro's Ricardo Mendez was substituted for Jo Barone. In the 67th minute, Martins Palermo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 70th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martins Palermo in the 72nd minute of play. When Sportivo Luan Toro's Martins Palermo, in the 73rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Luan Toro. In the 74th minute, Cristian Sancho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Robert Davison, passed just outside the right post. 79 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's Martins Palermo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute of the match Sportivo Luan Toro got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guaberto Bento ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 83rd minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's Martins Palermo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Luan Toro's Martins Palermo. But to his dismay, Martins Palermo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 93rd minute Sportivo Luan Toro were awarded a corner. Guaberto Bento went to the cornerflag to take it. Sergius Ramus made a great header on Sportivo Luan Toro's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 96th minute, Martins Palermo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The Sportivo Luan Toro support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
