When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Koby Wright sped through Meadow Village's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alex Lundkvist. 16 minutes into the match, Meadow Village's goal looked a bit too open when Luka Harris came free, but Alex Lundkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Lundkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carter George, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Carter George ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Lundkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Evert Ahlrot came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jax Williamson could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rohan Watson in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Lundkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Meadow Village's Alex Lundkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rohan Watson in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Luka Harris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Lundkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarbas Sabóia couldn't finish the play. Meadow Village's Kurt Almqvist was substituted for Frans Valrot. In the 95th minute Theo Burton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Lundkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Canada left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Meadow Village.
