Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Deportivo Gamberro getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Lucas Rovan hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Pascal. Deportivo Gamberro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Bruno Pascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Deportivo Gamberro defense, Abraham Alguacil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Pascal. The Deportivo Gamberro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Pascal should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Deportivo Gamberro's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Bruno Pascal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Deportivo Gamberro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. 22 minutes into the game, Abraham Alguacil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Bruno Pascal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute of the match, Tony Manerov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Cotilla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The corner led Deportivo Gamberro's Lucas Rovan to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcos Cotilla despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Reynardo. In the 30th match minute, Deportivo Gamberro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Henrico to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Isidoro Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Pascal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Panama's Dylan Sarmiento got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Rovan came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Pascal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Gamberro's Bruno Pascal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 49th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Deportivo Gamberro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Rovan to maneuver through the defense. Deportivo Gamberro's Bruno Pascal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 54th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Kepa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 68th minute of play forced Deportivo Gamberro's goalkeeper Bruno Pascal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Deportivo Gamberro's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Bruno Pascal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Gamberro's Roman Reynardo. But to his dismay, Roman Reynardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Deportivo Gamberro's Niceto Perpinya was substituted for Roman Reynardo. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Manerov in the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to Deportivo Gamberro getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Marcelo Orti hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Bruno Pascal in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Pascal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Deportivo Gamberro booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Panama could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Deportivo Gamberro throughout the match.
