The corner ended in Benjamin Vandekerkhove almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Emerald's Nichifor Nicolae did a great save. Cederik Huts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Piţurcă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Emerald's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Savino came free, but Nichifor Nicolae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cederik Huts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Piţurcă in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Victor Piţurcă made a precise shot to the right of Cederik Huts. Kickers United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Blasi in the 21st minute of play forced Emerald's goalkeeper Nichifor Nicolae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Kickers United defense, Victor Piţurcă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cederik Huts. The Kickers United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cederik Huts should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Reijnders got free with Nichifor Nicolae in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matei Félix Júnior hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Emerald's Nichifor Nicolae proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Emerald from getting a goal against them. Nichifor Nicolae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Savino in the 33rd minute of play. Cederik Huts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Piţurcă in the 35th minute of play. After 37 minutes Kickers United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Julio Iglesias who took care of the corner kick. Emerald's Julio Iglesias was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cederik Huts in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Emerald's Victor Piţurcă in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kickers United's goalie prevented a goal. In the 42nd minute, Pan De Wen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kickers United's Cederik Huts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Piţurcă in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Emerald's Ioan Logofătu was substituted for Julio Iglesias. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luca Savino made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Jorge Reijnders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichifor Nicolae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, Kickers United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pan De Wen to maneuver through the defense. Kickers United's Cederik Huts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Kickers United from getting a goal against them. After 56 minutes of play, Kickers United's Luca Savino made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nichifor Nicolae was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olaf Kochowski made in the 59th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jorge Reijnders. A nice corner shot did that Gabriel Vermeşan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cederik Huts quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kickers United's Cederik Huts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Piţurcă in the 70th minute of play. Nichifor Nicolae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Maquiano in the 73rd minute of play. When Pan De Wen fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kickers United's protests and gave Pan De Wen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Pan De Wen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kickers United made a substitution. Antonio Netels replaced Pan De Wen. Kickers United's Toon Adriaensens was substituted for Niels Vandamme. A collision led to Kickers United getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Pan De Wen hit a great ball. Cederik Huts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Piţurcă in the 80th minute. Gabriel Vermeşan kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Antonio Netels made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Benjamin Vandekerkhove immediately put the ball in play. After 93 minutes, 朱风俊 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Emerald and the Kickers United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Emerald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 朱风俊 to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute of the match Benjamin Vandekerkhove shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nichifor Nicolae showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Emerald's Jaime Carioca got a free kick in the 95th minute. After 96 played minutes Kickers United got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Firmin. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Emerald walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
