A very nice done corner allowed Silvinho Brodel to score against Bruno Barrett in Curacao's goal. 5-1 after 65 minutes. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aloísio Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvinegro Carioca. Curacao's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
