In the 6thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomasz Piwko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomasz Piwko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 9th minute of the match. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomasz Piwko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasz Piwko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mariusz Zgonina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomasz Piwko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to KS Piastów Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Teobald Wawrukiewicz hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Mariusz Zgonina could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Rolando Noboa however easily saved by the left post. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apolo Beltza in the 27th minute. Tomasz Piwko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 28th minute of the match. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 32nd minute of play. A very nice done corner allowed Eliseo Mina to score against Tomasz Piwko in KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goal. 0-1 after 34 minutes. In the 37th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 54th minute. The corner led Peru's Moises Gayoso to fire away a dangerous shot which Tomasz Piwko despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariusz Zgonina, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Tomasz Piwko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Stelian Joldea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. Eliseo Mina was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 68 minutes into the game, Teobald Wawrukiewicz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariusz Zgonina in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 72nd minute of play forced KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Tomasz Piwko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Tomasz Piwko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 75 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Efraim Gilabert. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Marcin Snaza was substituted for Reşat Rasif. Efraim Gilabert kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. After 83 minutes KS Piastów Sosnowiec's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Mina who took care of the corner kick. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyryl Penkalski in the 86th minute of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Snaza in the 89th minute of play. Rafael Gallo had several of the KS Piastów Sosnowiec's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 94 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Tomasz Piwko as he didn't even see the shot coming. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
