The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrik Larsson got free with Marco Day in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Bradley made in the 8th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Decathlon Dudes's Costin Moisil. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 10th minute of play forced Decathlon Dudes's goalkeeper Tadej Pogačar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monty Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadej Pogačar having to interfere. Tadej Pogačar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zach Harrison, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute of the match, Henrik Larsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marco Day was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cassius Byrne to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Edward Mcdonald recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tadej Pogačar. Edward Mcdonald showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Tadej Pogačar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Cassius Byrne had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadej Pogačar. Decathlon Dudes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cassius Byrne was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Tadej Pogačar in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Henrik Larsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Decathlon Dudes's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrik Larsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Monty Rogers was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Tadej Pogačar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Campbell in the 72nd minute. Tadej Pogačar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khalid Parry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Jenson Smith got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tadej Pogačar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
