The shot was a little too simple and Edgar Grep could save by the left post. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Älta BK's Edgar Grep did a great save. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Edgar Grep made a huge save. In the 78th minute Nils-Emil Engman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Edgar Grep in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Älta BK.
