Branislav Velchevski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Francis in the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. Esteban Iztal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Francis came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Esteban Iztal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
