Bram Smits who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Patrik Alström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. AC Pitt Bier were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Åsbro Flåsegutter's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tim Hartogh took the corner. Patrik Alström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bram Smits's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the game, Åsbro Flåsegutter's Joseph Askestät nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niels Rensenbrink made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Åsbro Flåsegutter getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. André Juhlin hit a great ball. Patrik Alström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Rogaars, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Åsbro Flåsegutter's Patrik Alström got control of the ball when Bram Smits tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joseph Askestät's late challenge caught a AC Pitt Bier's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joseph Askestät helped the player get up and apologised. Joseph Askestät kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Patrik Alström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Hak, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Åsbro Flåsegutter's Herbert Kilman got a free kick in the 41st minute. Patrik Alström made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Bram Smits sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute, Pascall de Vries hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tim Hellqvist to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, AC Pitt Bier's Klaas Rijkaard got a free kick in the 50th minute. Niels Rensenbrink made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thor Sjödin in the 51st minute. Patrik Alström came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Pitt Bier's Damien van Putten. But to his dismay, Damien van Putten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Patrik Alström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Rogaars, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascall de Vries in the 60th minute of play forced Åsbro Flåsegutter's goalkeeper Patrik Alström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damien van Putten kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Vallin during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 played minutes Åsbro Flåsegutter got a freekick which was hit by Peter Vallin. A collision led to Åsbro Flåsegutter getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Peter Vallin hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Tim Hartogh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Alström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrik Alström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Rogaars, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Patrik Alström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bram Smits in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Juhlin in the 74th minute of play forced AC Pitt Bier's goalkeeper Niels Rensenbrink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, Åsbro Flåsegutter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thor Sjödin to maneuver through the defense. André Juhlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niels Rensenbrink having to interfere. After 81 minutes, Bram Smits mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Pitt Bier and the Åsbro Flåsegutter players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AC Pitt Bier getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Bram Smits hit a great ball. After 82 played minutes AC Pitt Bier got a freekick which was hit by Bram Smits. After 85 minutes, Robin van Putten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Pitt Bier and the Åsbro Flåsegutter players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Åsbro Flåsegutter booed when AC Pitt Bier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin van Putten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrik Alström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieter-Jan Roeles in the 88th minute of play. After taking down the ball on AC Pitt Bier's corner Twan Lute fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Patrik Alström quite easily take care of the ball. If Pieter-Jan Roeles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 94 minutes into the match, Twan Lute had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrik Alström. Åsbro Flåsegutter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Twan Lute was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.

When the referee ended the match the AC Pitt Bier players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
