The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Laerte Fernandes fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JFSP's protests and gave Laerte Fernandes a yellow card for diving instead. Laerte Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, JFSP's Vambola Probach sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Min Ordoña narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Vambola Probach kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Min Ordoña. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Aníbal Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vambola Probach got free with Min Ordoña in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Vambola Probach's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Min Ordoña was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 16thth minute of the game Vambola Probach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Viola Gigliati's Min Ordoña was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iztal Lacalle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thibault Mamardashvili having to make a save. JFSP's Thibault Mamardashvili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilazki Esquivel in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Gonçalves in the 22nd minute of play forced AFC Viola Gigliati's goalkeeper Min Ordoña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosme Fole charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Fole the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cosme Fole hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes AFC Viola Gigliati got a freekick which was hit by Elorri Palmer. Min Ordoña didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ilazki Esquivel was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to AFC Viola Gigliati getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Cosme Fole hit a great ball. If Vambola Probach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The throw-in from Enrico Cicero in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by JFSP's Edgard de Godoi. Min Ordoña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Meirelles in the 71st minute of play. In the 78th minute, Hermínio Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AFC Viola Gigliati made a substitution. Waldir Velaz replaced Iztal Lacalle.
