In the 28th minute of the match, Maciej Kiepski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 35th minute of the match, Waldemar Markowski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 73rdth minute of the game Waldemar Markowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
