KKS Magines's Julian Trzenzalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Rafal Scigan came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafal Scigan in the 21st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafal Scigan hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Tolek Kluska fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KKS Magines's protests and gave Tolek Kluska a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, KKS Magines's Tolek Kluska got a free kick in the 44th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roman Rosen to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes KKS Magines got a freekick which was hit by Karol Kalinowski. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julian Trzenzalski but with some difficulty. The supporters of Ecuador booed when KKS Magines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Rosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to KKS Magines getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Karol Kalinowski hit a great ball. Julian Trzenzalski made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, KKS Magines's Roman Rosen got a free kick in the 61st minute. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by KKS Magines's Roman Rosen. But to his dismay, Roman Rosen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maciej Kiepski in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Rosen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Zbyszko Kiepski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save.
