If Robby Woody had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstanty Major in the 25th minute of play forced La Academia's goalkeeper Iwan Grocholski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damazy Gomolka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Iwan Grocholski made a huge save. Gong Peng Bo took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Piotr Topolski. Piotr Topolski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Gong Peng Bo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind La Academia's goalkeeper Iwan Grocholski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aaron Mazuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gong Peng Bo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Piotr Topolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lalo Salamanca in the 36th minute of play. Kernsdorf SSA's Piotr Topolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robby Woody in the 39th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zygmunt Pieknik made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zygmunt Pieknik in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Grocholski saved La Academia from getting behind. In the 52nd minute Kernsdorf SSA were awarded a corner. Damazy Gomolka went to the cornerflag to take it. Damazy Gomolka made a great header on Kernsdorf SSA's corner, it was just that La Academia's Iwan Grocholski managed to reach the ball for a save. After 53 played minutes Kernsdorf SSA got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto Guedes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Konstanty Major in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Grocholski saved La Academia from getting behind. Kernsdorf SSA made a substitution. Stefan Kempka replaced Zbigniew Arendarski. La Academia's Iwan Grocholski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Pieknik in the 62nd minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, La Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Pieknik came free, but Iwan Grocholski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piotr Topolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Sillén in the 72nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Kernsdorf SSA's Piotr Topolski got control of the ball when Eric Sillén tried to sneak it across the goal line. Piotr Topolski was a little too slow when Eric Sillén got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-3. Kernsdorf SSA made a substitution. Sjors van Ankeren replaced José Guerreiro. With a little luck, Kernsdorf SSA's Piotr Topolski got control of the ball when Robby Woody tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of La Academia booed when Kernsdorf SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Kociniewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Piotr Topolski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Aaron Mazuste. Stefan Kempka hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Gafur Onat made in the 91st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kernsdorf SSA's Stefan Kempka. Piotr Topolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robby Woody, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. La Academia played a much better game than Kernsdorf SSA and deserved their victory. The Kernsdorf SSA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
