Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Jan-Erik Tunberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 5th minute of the match, Jan-Erik Tunberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Jan-Erik Tunberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Bergman in the 8th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Bergman came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Jan-Erik Tunberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Eric Bertaux hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Fågel having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Erik Tunberg in the 20th minute of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Håkan Valrot in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Polly Magoo Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the game, Jan-Erik Tunberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Fågel having to interfere. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Polly Magoo Juniors's Roy Johnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan-Erik Tunberg was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Tunberg in the 54th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Polly Magoo Juniors booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th match minute, Polly Magoo Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Bergman to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Markus Fågel in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Polly Magoo Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Erik Tunberg in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Polly Magoo Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conny Rudkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Jan-Erik Tunberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Polly Magoo Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Jan-Erik Tunberg took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan-Erik Tunberg went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Polly Magoo Juniors's Henry Jonasson got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Erik Tunberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Polly Magoo Juniors's Markus Fågel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Fågel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Erik Tunberg in the 92nd minute of play. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
