Cortez Niño came out and tried to block the shot, but Şevket Çağa slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Satordi Arevalo in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pankracy Glogowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Club Atlético Atlanta's Paolo Caradaro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 15 minutes, Şevket Çağa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şevket Çağa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Şevket Çağa made a kick off. Cortez Niño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şevket Çağa, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Cortez Niño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Berdoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 minutes of play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Şevket Çağa made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cortez Niño was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şevket Çağa in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cortez Niño saved Jenhuapata from getting behind. In the 94thth minute of the game Şevket Çağa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jenhuapata 's Cortez Niño was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Michel Tobar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Pankracy Glogowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Atlético Atlanta fully deserved thier win.
