The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 16th minute. The long shot by Alfredão Monteiro in the 17th minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience was convinced that Okan Sungurtekin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 26th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Secco in the 27th minute of the match. Joshua Secada's late challenge caught a FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joshua Secada helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Secada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Okan Sungurtekin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Chico Secco kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 40thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Venezuela's keeper Jonathan Ferrant was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chico Secco made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Secco in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Okan Sungurtekin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 61 minutes into the match, Chico Secco notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's Vito Batista was substituted for Amadeu Vergílio. In the 71st minute Chico Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 77th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Okan Sungurtekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. Vito Batista scored 7-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
