In the 3rd minute Adlène Rimitti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Behzat Umur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fawzi Mezdad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bektaş Ali Yorgun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Ahmed Zerara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute of the match Hüseyin Cahit Gökkuşağı sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fawzi Mezdad skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Çakır Kotuzhan during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Çakır Kotuzhan hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Ali Behzat Umur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adlène Rimitti in the 19th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Korkuteli's goal looked a bit too open when Samir Mehenni came free, but Ali Behzat Umur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Curwensville's Adlène Rimitti in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Korkuteli's goalie prevented a goal. Cavit Ünsaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bektaş Ali Yorgun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samir Mehenni got free with Ali Behzat Umur in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 60 minutes, Gökçek Sulhi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Korkuteli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökçek Sulhi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Curwensville defense, Gökçek Sulhi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fawzi Mezdad. The Curwensville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fawzi Mezdad should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Bektaş Ali Yorgun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Korkuteli's supporters rose to their feet, but Bektaş Ali Yorgun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fawzi Mezdad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ali Behzat Umur came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Curwensville's Samir Mehenni. But to his dismay, Samir Mehenni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Korkuteli fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! After 92 played minutes Korkuteli got a freekick which was hit by Paşa Devan. The supporters of Curwensville booed when Korkuteli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kerimhan Kayansel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Curwensville's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
