After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Fawzi Mezdad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Santiago in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Luis Neto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fawzi Mezdad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Segundo Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Fawzi Mezdad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Curwensville's zone, Luis Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fawzi Mezdad came out of the goal and Luis Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded La Partuza FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Curwensville.
