The shot was a little too simple and Ernesto Oxarra could save by the left post. 7 minutes into the game, Luis Neto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Daud Rupawan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. La Partuza FC's Ernesto Oxarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Aswatama in the 10th minute of play. If Segundo Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 played minutes PSI Tempino got a freekick which was hit by Daus Rumaropen. After 22 played minutes PSI Tempino got a freekick which was hit by Yoyo Prawiranegara. La Partuza FC's Luis Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, one of La Partuza FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Partuza FC. When the match had been going on for 28 minutes, PSI Tempino's Widodo Sitorus got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ernesto Oxarra. In the 34th minute, PSI Tempino's Daus Rumaropen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernesto Oxarra. Ernesto Oxarra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. After 41 played minutes PSI Tempino got a freekick which was hit by Agil Sumampouw. PSI Tempino's Daud Rupawan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Neto in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Segundo Santiago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match Widodo Sitorus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Oxarra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johannes Aswatama stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Oxarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Aswatama in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Partuza FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Widodo Sitorus was slow to take the kick. During this time PSI Tempino's players had a chance to rest. Widodo Sitorus made a great header on PSI Tempino's corner, it was just that La Partuza FC's Ernesto Oxarra managed to reach the ball for a save. Luis Neto struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Santos Nahia kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Leonardo Jakue kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Leonardo Jakue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daud Rupawan having to interfere. After 88 played minutes La Partuza FC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Rafel. Johannes Aswatama's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernesto Oxarra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Ernesto Oxarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Aswatama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Santos Nahia fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Partuza FC's protests and gave Santos Nahia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of PSI Tempino booed when La Partuza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Nahia didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to PSI Tempino getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Dudu Sinuraya hit a great ball. La Partuza FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
