After 8 minutes of play, FONGIE's Leysus Himawan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Titus Pickens was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th match minute, FONGIE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romi Sandiaji to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute of the match Morgan French shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gandung Rahardjo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gandung Rahardjo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Bermudez, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Leysus Himawan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stevanus Prakoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, FONGIE's Gandung Rahardjo got control of the ball when Ethan Person tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute, Ernesto Bermudez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gandung Rahardjo. The goal made the score 4-1. 59 minutes into the match, Atletico Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Stevanus Prakoso came free, but Titus Pickens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Titus Pickens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that FONGIE were the better team. FONGIE's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
