It was beautiful to see Dodge City FC's Rigoberto Fleming in action when he in the 14th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Eralp Özdoru hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Art Bustamante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arif Bilge Demirbaş read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Dodge City FC's Gerard Regan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eralp Özdoru in the 20th minute of play. Ali Asım Dilan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Gerard Regan made a huge save. Güzelbahce's Arif Bilge Demirbaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Fleming in the 25th minute of play. Rigoberto Fleming received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Arif Bilge Demirbaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32ndth minute of the game Rigoberto Fleming who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Güzelbahce's Arif Bilge Demirbaş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute Rıfat Canbulat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerard Regan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Dodge City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rıfat Canbulat came free, but Gerard Regan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When Brent Lewis fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dodge City FC's protests and gave Brent Lewis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Dodge City FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gerard Regan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yiğit Can Taykoç, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Arif Bilge Demirbaş came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Dodge City FC's Art Bustamante. But to his dismay, Art Bustamante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Dodge City FC's Rufus Parker got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 71 played minutes Güzelbahce got a freekick which was hit by Ali Asım Dilan. After a rather tough play, Dodge City FC's Robin Christian got a free kick in the 75th minute. Rigoberto Flemings short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Arif Bilge Demirbaş to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gerard Regan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yiğit Can Taykoç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
