In the 13th minute, Cesar Delarosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Luna Roja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Stiles came free, but Benjamin Lugo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mel Avila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When Darin Beam came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Sport Club Corinthians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darin Beam couldn't finish the play. Tadeo Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Corinthians's Curtis Blalock got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 35th match minute, Luna Roja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Franco to maneuver through the defense. Hank Simon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Lugo having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eleuterio Sancho made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Epifanio Deunoro during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes Luna Roja FC got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Deunoro. With a little luck, Luna Roja FC's Benjamin Lugo got control of the ball when Darin Beam tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darin Beam in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Lugo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anselmo Evarado charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Evarado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes Luna Roja FC got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Evarado. Luna Roja FC's Benjamin Lugo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darin Beam in the 63rd minute of play. Mel Avila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Deunoro in the 64th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseo Walme during the 67th minute. Sport Club Corinthians succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Luna Roja FC had controlled the match.
