Gandung Rahardjo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 8th match minute, FONGIE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leysus Himawan to maneuver through the defense. Aureliusz Marchefka struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Gandung Rahardjo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KKS Lech Poznań. The supporters of FONGIE booed when KKS Lech Poznań was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacek Gdowik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Tintus Sarwono got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Radomil Ludwiczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leysus Himawan in the 18th minute of play. FONGIE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Aureliusz Marchefka scored to the left of an out of position Gandung Rahardjo, making the score, 2-0. In the 26th match minute, FONGIE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romi Sandiaji to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Rafal Juszkowski from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Gandung Rahardjo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 28th minute, Aureliusz Marchefka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gandung Rahardjo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. KKS Lech Poznań's Marian Wolniewicz was substituted for Tytus Kochanowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danu Mangkulangit in the 32nd minute of play forced KKS Lech Poznań's goalkeeper Radomil Ludwiczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Danu Mangkulangit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomil Ludwiczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FONGIE booed when KKS Lech Poznań was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacek Gdowik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radomil Ludwiczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leysus Himawan in the 37th minute of the match. Sylwester Dytrych hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Tommy Irwansyah's late challenge caught a KKS Lech Poznań's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Irwansyah helped the player get up and apologised. Jedrzej Rudy took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gandung Rahardjo. Gandung Rahardjo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureliusz Marchefka to make the kick off. Tommy Irwansyah hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliusz Marchefka in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gandung Rahardjo saved FONGIE from getting behind. Gandung Rahardjo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Raflewski in the 55th minute of the match. The supporters of KKS Lech Poznań booed when FONGIE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stevanus Prakoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leysus Himawan might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radomil Ludwiczak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leysus Himawan ran back to his position shaking his head. Feliks Fafinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leysus Himawan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Radomil Ludwiczak when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Leysus Himawan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Radomil Ludwiczak managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when FONGIE's Leysus Himawan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Jacek Gdowik fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KKS Lech Poznań's protests and gave Jacek Gdowik a yellow card for diving instead. Gandung Rahardjo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jedrzej Rudy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, FONGIE's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliusz Marchefka came free, but Gandung Rahardjo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leysus Himawan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomil Ludwiczak having to interfere. A hard shot 81 in the game by Leysus Himawan from a close distance when the talented Radomil Ludwiczak managed to make a qualified save. KKS Lech Poznań's players were relieved. In the 83rd minute of the match FONGIE got a corner. KKS Lech Poznań's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tintus Sarwono ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led FONGIE's Tintus Sarwono to fire away a dangerous shot which Radomil Ludwiczak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When KKS Lech Poznań's Aureliusz Marchefka in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FONGIE's goalie prevented a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the FONGIE players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KKS Lech Poznań.
