The Winston Premium 100S fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Winston Premium 100S's Gusmão Sá looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 8th minute, David Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Peralta charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Peralta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Winston Premium 100S's André Peralta got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute of the match Joe Cowan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Álvaro Ribas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Martin Bagley, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 12 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Álvaro Ribas was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Garry Caballero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Peralta, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Garry Caballero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Gusmão Sá's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Garry Caballero was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Garry Caballero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gusmão Sá's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gusmão Sá in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Garry Caballero saved Beechbrook FC from getting behind. Gusmão Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garry Caballero having to interfere. In the 30thth minute of the game Gusmão Sá who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beechbrook FC's Garry Caballero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rogério Matias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Garry Caballero having to make a save. Garry Caballero didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Winston Premium 100S's Gusmão Sá shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Emmitt Robison who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Álvaro Ribas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 46 minutes, Gusmão Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winston Premium 100S's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gusmão Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gusmão Sá was the one to do the kick off. Joe Cowan struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Álvaro Ribas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beechbrook FC. 56 minutes into the game, David Azevedo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Garry Caballero. David Azevedo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. A collision led to Winston Premium 100S getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Hilário Neiva hit a great ball. In the 67th minute of the match Joe Cowan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Álvaro Ribas skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Winston Premium 100S's Hilário Damásio got a free kick in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Beechbrook FC's Joe Cowan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Álvaro Ribas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute Gusmão Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garry Caballero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gusmão Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gusmão Sá's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Garry Caballero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Joe Cowan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Winston Premium 100S's Álvaro Ribas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Cowan in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gusmão Sá in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Garry Caballero saved Beechbrook FC from getting behind. The supporters of Beechbrook FC booed when Winston Premium 100S was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilário Damásio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Bettencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the match Joe Cowan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Álvaro Ribas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Beechbrook FC's Joe Cowan got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Winston Premium 100S walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
