The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Santos Nahia charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Curwensville booed when La Partuza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Nahia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Oxarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adlène Rimitti in the 7th minute of play. After 9 played minutes La Partuza FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Jakue. La Partuza FC's Ernesto Oxarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheb Allalou in the 10th minute of play. If Segundo Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luis Neto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Fawzi Mezdad skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fawzi Mezdad stood somewhat misplaced when Luis Neto came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 13 minute. The Curwensville fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 39th minute of the match, Luis Neto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fawzi Mezdad was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ernesto Oxarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adlène Rimitti in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mourad Lacen in the 43rd minute of play forced La Partuza FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Oxarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, La Partuza FC's Ernesto Oxarra got control of the ball when Adlène Rimitti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adlène Rimitti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Ernesto Oxarra made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cheb Allalou in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Oxarra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Curwensville's Fawzi Mezdad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Salvino in the 79th minute of play. When Teofilo Salvino came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the La Partuza FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Salvino couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Oxarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cheb Allalou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cheb Allalou spun around in front of the goal 88 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of La Partuza FC's goal. Teofilo Salvino might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fawzi Mezdad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teofilo Salvino ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Curwensville had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
