Yiğit Can Taykoç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Titus Pickens having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Atletico Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob Judd to maneuver through the defense. Yiğit Can Taykoç succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 16th playminute. When Ethan Person came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Atletico Nacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ethan Person couldn't finish the play. Arif Bilge Demirbaş didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernesto Bermudez went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ali Asım Dilan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Titus Pickens made a huge save. Atletico Nacional's Ethan Person got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Eralp Özdoru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arif Bilge Demirbaş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Bermudez in the 33rd minute of the match. Titus Pickens was a little too slow when Yiğit Can Taykoç got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-1. 38 minutes into the match, Atletico Nacional's goalkeeper Titus Pickens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yiğit Can Taykoç. Eralp Özdoru might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Titus Pickens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eralp Özdoru ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44th match minute, Güzelbahce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdulmelik Rüştü to maneuver through the defense. Songurbey Bayazid charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Songurbey Bayazid the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Güzelbahce got a freekick which was hit by Songurbey Bayazid. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rıfat Canbulat made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Nacional's zone, Yiğit Can Taykoç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Titus Pickens came out of the goal and Yiğit Can Taykoç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rıfat Canbulat succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. Titus Pickens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yiğit Can Taykoç's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, Atletico Nacional's Jacob Judd got a free kick in the 57th minute. When Güzelbahce's Rıfat Canbulat in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atletico Nacional's goalie prevented a goal. Atletico Nacional's Titus Pickens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yiğit Can Taykoç in the 62nd minute of play. Rıfat Canbulat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Atletico Nacional's Jacob Judd got a free kick in the 67th minute. Karahan Burçak was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Yiğit Can Taykoç had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Titus Pickens. Atletico Nacional's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yiğit Can Taykoç was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Yiğit Can Taykoç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Titus Pickens having to interfere. The supporters of Güzelbahce booed when Atletico Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jared Ennis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rıfat Canbulat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Güzelbahce had won after a very even match.
