The audience thought a goal was coming when Iwan Kasiewski got free with Marco Day in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredric Hybbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Hybbert in the 20th minute of the match. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Hybbert in the 23rd minute of play. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Sundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32ndth minute of the game Cassius Byrne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Monty Rogers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alaaddin Solskjær was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. FC Kurdistan's Lars Sundström got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's Fredric Hybbert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Hybbert in the 40th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Elliot Nordgren came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 47th minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Iwan Kasiewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Alaaddin Solskjær made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Sam Campbell sent off a good shot on target. Alaaddin Solskjær showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalid Parry, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Hybbert in the 92nd minute of the match. FC Kurdistan's Jörgen Levander has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 93rd minute. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
