Heitor Paim Belluci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyryl Dziurowicz in the 8th minute of play. If Murilo Barros Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. KS Blizne's Edgar Gregorczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Barros Rosa in the 25th minute of play. Brazil were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after KS Blizne's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alexandre Paz Rocha took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of KS Blizne's goalie and right to Ivo Reis Quadros. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. KS Blizne's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Barros Rosa in the 30th minute of play forced KS Blizne's goalkeeper Edgar Gregorczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Murilo Barros Rosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brazil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. KS Blizne were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Brazil's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benedykt Chwalkiewicz took the corner. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexandre Paz Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Adriano Macedo Sanches tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edgar Gregorczyk saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 52 minutes into the match, KS Blizne's goalkeeper Edgar Gregorczyk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Paz Rocha.
