With his leg Marco Day managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Twierdza Wroclaw's Maksymilian Solibieda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tony Kroneder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. After 15 minutes Twierdza Wroclaw's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Cassius Byrne got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tony Kroneder quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Maksymilian Solibieda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. If Maksymilian Solibieda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Kroneder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zach Harrison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Kroneder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Edward Mcdonald cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tony Kroneder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tony Kroneder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 35th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Edward Mcdonald managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Mcdonald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony Kroneder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tony Kroneder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 46th minute of the match. Cassius Byrne took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Kroneder. Tony Kroneder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. Tony Kroneder made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Twierdza Wroclaw's Tony Kroneder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 59th minute of play. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Cordareo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 70th minute of play forced Twierdza Wroclaw's goalkeeper Tony Kroneder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maksymilian Solibieda in the 71st minute of play. Monty Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. In the 79thth minute of the game Lisandro Cordareo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 81st minute of play forced Twierdza Wroclaw's goalkeeper Tony Kroneder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Twierdza Wroclaw's Tony Kroneder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Twierdza Wroclaw from getting a goal against them. When Juan Fernando Quinteros came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Twierdza Wroclaw fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Fernando Quinteros couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as USA's Jacob May slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tony Kroneder. That made the score 0-3 after 89 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Baker in the 95th minute of play forced Twierdza Wroclaw's goalkeeper Tony Kroneder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute, Khalid Parry made a precise shot to the right of Tony Kroneder. Twierdza Wroclaw's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
