Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Rumaldo in the 4th minute of the match. Noel Seide was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Manuel Morais capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Manuel Morais really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Haiti's zone, Manuel Morais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Seide came out of the goal and Manuel Morais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. From close distance Santo Rumaldo pressed in the 2-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 9 minutes into the game. After some careless play in the Haiti defense, Honorato Kauldi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Seide. The Haiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Seide should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Manuel Morais took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Noel Seide to make any attempt to save it. 19 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Morais came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorato Kauldi got free with Noel Seide in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute, Manuel Morais reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Noel Seide. The goal made the score 6-0. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Jean Marie Alcius got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute Anier Mon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Morais blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noel Seide having to make a save. Noel Seide didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mercedes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Morais in the 45th minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Morais stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Fabian Ascencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Manuel Morais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Noel Seide. Haiti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Morais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Mercedes's Alvaro Abar was substituted for Albino Feliu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Kauldi in the 61st minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Anier Mon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Haiti's Noel Seide did a great save. Jan-Ivar Nordmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Seide having to interfere. Jan-Ivar Nordmo scored 9-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noel Seide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Noel Seide didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Morais went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute Jan-Ivar Nordmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 75 minutes, Jan-Ivar Nordmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mercedes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Ivar Nordmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute, Jan-Ivar Nordmo made a precise shot to the right of Noel Seide. Haiti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. 82 minutes into the game, Jan-Ivar Nordmo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Noel Seide was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 90 minutes of play, Mercedes's Jan-Ivar Nordmo made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noel Seide was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the game, Mercedes's Manuel Morais nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noel Seide made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mercedes had played much better football throughout.
