In the 5th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony Kroneder was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 9th minute Juan Fernando Quinteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Fernando Quinteros in the 12th minute. Joaquin Prats hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, Maksymilian Solibieda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa. Maksymilian Solibieda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Lisandro Cordareo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maksymilian Solibieda had several of the Peru's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Rolando Noboa as he didn't even see the shot coming. Maksymilian Solibieda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 minutes of play, Twierdza Wroclaw's Maksymilian Solibieda made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! A throw-in in the 38th minute of the game was made by Misael Mesia with Karl-Michael Ersman as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 44th match minute, Twierdza Wroclaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir Donatello to maneuver through the defense. Tony Kroneder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Ademir Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Misael Mesia made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. In the 57th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Kroneder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maksymilian Solibieda in the 58th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Peru's Eliseo Mina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tony Kroneder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 64 minutes Twierdza Wroclaw's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Eliseo Mina almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Twierdza Wroclaw's Tony Kroneder did a great save. Tony Kroneder was a little too slow when Julian Murillo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 3-2. In the 72nd minute Maksymilian Solibieda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Tony Kroneder throw himself and got hold of the ball when Julian Murillo in the 78thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Twierdza Wroclaw's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. After 84 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. Anthony Alvarado kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute of the match Misael Mesia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Noboa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tony Kroneder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 90th minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Gilesindo in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of Peru booed when Twierdza Wroclaw was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Pantani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Eliseo Mina shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tony Kroneder showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Gallo got free with Tony Kroneder in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
