Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zé Mello got the match started through his kick off. José Maria de Senna made in the 3rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Xavier Zoido. In the 6th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertinho Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 played minutes Zé Mello rounded Paraguay's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Sidney Favoretto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidney Favoretto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Elder Moreno came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Nas Horas Vagas F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elder Moreno couldn't finish the play. Paraguay's Alan Campos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Elder Moreno, made in the 19th minute of the game. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Zé Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Zé Mello dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacobo Nores, 2-0. Elder Moreno scored 3-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Albertinho Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Nas Horas Vagas F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Pitta to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the game, Elder Moreno threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paraguay's Raul Venegas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 47 minutes of play, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albertinho Netto was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Pardo to make the kick off. Primitivo Escribano's late challenge caught a Nas Horas Vagas F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Escribano helped the player get up and apologised. Primitivo Escribano hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Lúcio Pitta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Raul Venegas hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Jaime Pardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70thth minute of the game Zé Mello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the game, José Maria de Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Nas Horas Vagas F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Maria de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 played minutes, Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Albertinho Netto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paraguay reached it. Hector Covarrubias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Mello came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes Nas Horas Vagas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Dida Fernandes. The Nas Horas Vagas F.C players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
